Our movement toward a goal is motivated by desire and accompanied by a “dream image” of howwe envision the final result. However, the actual result often doesn’t match up with our expectations—for better or for worse. My experience has shown that juxtaposing the result with the expectation teaches valuable lessons for developing a project or business. A real-life story will helpme prove this conclusion and demonstrate the method for arriving at this hypothesis.
